Changelog · v2.0.0

FreshlyCited launches on freshlycited.com

IndexPilot is now FreshlyCited, on its own domain. Smart push checks what Google has already seen and only pushes the pages it hasn't.

Shipped

v2.0.0, shipped Fri Oct 16, 2026: 7 added, 1 changed, 1 fixed.

FreshlyCited is the new name for IndexPilot, and v2.0.0 is the first release on freshlycited.com. The job is the same: help Google and Bing find your new and updated pages sooner, then show you what was indexed. We can't make an engine cite you; we help it find your latest pages.

Added7 changes

  • Smart push. Every URL is checked first. Pages Google has already seen are marked Already seen — not pushed and skipped, so you only push the pages it can't see yet.
  • Shareable client reports. A before-and-after status report your clients can open from one link, no account needed.
  • Magic-link sign-in. Sign in with a one-time link sent to your inbox.
  • Outcome-first emails. Job emails lead with the result, such as how many of your links Google has seen, then the details.
  • Guides. 40 guides on Google indexing, AI search, IndexNow and backlinks, in six topics, with sitemaps and an llms.txt map for AI assistants.
  • A product tour built from real screenshots on the home page.
  • Version stamp. Every page shows its version and build number in small print at the bottom.

Changed1 change

  • New name and home. IndexPilot is now FreshlyCited, served from freshlycited.com over HTTPS, with a firewall and nightly backups.

Fixed1 change

  • Our content admin pages now tell search engines not to index them (X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow).
